Compass inoperative issue and unknown multipins

After tearing apart the dash to replace the evaporator core, my compass module isn't working. Looking at the service manual, it's telling me to check on "Circuit 1003", without directing me to where that actually is. The connector they show sure looks like one of the three I've left unplugged because I couldn't find anything to pair them up with, and assumed them extraneous. If anyone can provide insight into where that circuit is and where any of the three unknown multipins go (assuming they go anywhere), I'd greatly appreciate it.

The connector that looks similar to the one shown for the compass module is splitting off a large harness between the radio and the instrument cluster:

There's one on the left wall splitting off above the parking brake hardware:
