Hey guys,
Here's the issue. I have a E40D transmission and its causing my O/D light to flash a couple times on start up. I scanned it with my snap-on scanner and it says that there is a transmission code for a Transmission Fluid Temperature Sensor (TFTS). Found a video after months of looking on youtube showing the part in an expedition transmission but ford can't tell me if it is even in my car much less if its a part they even carry.
Searched the net and can't find anything even related to a 1st gen having a TFTS. No replacement parts for sale. Do you guys know what this part is and does it come on the 1st gen expedition with E40D transmission?
