I replaced plugs and cop's in February. The cop's were the ebay ones everyone here recommends. For a while everything was super smooth but the last 3 months I've had a slight hesitation/miss part of the time. It's not enough to set a code. My question is if I take it to a mechanic will an engine scan be able to identify which cylinder has a potential problem? I have a new cop (spare) and hate the idea of trying to replace/then drive it one at a time. It's my thought that one of the cop's is bad.
TIA

My mechanic informed me that the big huge honkin machine in his garage that looked like a cross between NASA and farm equipment, could read the ECU and find codes and histories that a normal code scanner wouldn't find, such as timing, transmission etc.

He quoted me about $120 to do hook it up to HAL and see if there was any looming problems. I have no reason to believe there are problems with my rig, it was just a conversation we had.
