courtesy lights dont work

when any door is opened the dome lights or courtesy lights dont work all fuses are good but i did notice that the drivers door switch is not there someone took it out could this be my issue with no lights with any door also the dome will not turn on with the pannel dimmer switch

Sounds as though you have multiple problems. The missing switch will explain the driver door not turning on the lights. However the other doors should be able to turn the lights on. Since they don't you have more than one problem.
Need to get the wiring diagram for your year to make it easier to troubleshoot than just guessing at the problem.
Do you know how to use a test light?

when the other doors open the door adjar light does come on but with the missing switch the drivers door dont i just didnt know with out the switch in the drivers door would the other doors have the option to turn on the lights still

I've read your other post so my wiring book applies to yours. I'll look at the schematic to make sure but I think the way they wired it is that any door should trip a relay in the GEM which then turns on the lights.

We will start with the interior lamp relay located in the central junction box. I'd prefer to test for power first if you have a test light. If not, you'll need to pull the relay and jump #3 to #5. That will bypass all door switches and GEM. Interior lights should come on.

Yes the other doors will turn on the lights.

ong i feel so dumb but didnt expect to find the relay completely missing took the horn relay out and put it in the spot for the interior light relay spot and it comes on im glad you had me do that test i would have never thought the relay was missing i thought it was a fuse then couldnt find a bad fuse then i thought with everything i have read i may have a bad internal computer

all works now thank you a million now to figure out my horn and cruise issue ill have a decent ride
