Crank but no start and runs fine now

I was driving back home for the holidays a couple days ago and pulled off to use the restroom at a truck stop. To my surprise when I went to go start my expe up to finish my drive she cranked but wouldn’t start. I got it to actually start a couple times but it would die immediately after. I really thought I was going to have to call a tow truck but I gave her one last crank and it started up and revved to about ~3k rpm like there was a ton of fuel sitting in the lines. Wish I could give some more info to help diagnose it but I’m away from my tools and diagnostic equipment so I thought I’d turn to you guys for help!
