I have a 2006 Ford Expedition 93K miles. I’ve never had serious issues with it. My truck started up fine on the way to pick my wife up from work but I stopped to get gas and went to start it and it wouldn’t turn over. It’s never done that before ever.. I had used starting fluid to see if I had spark and it started right up but died 2 minutes later. What could the issue be?

Sounds like a fuel pump or fuel pump relay. In my case on my 04, it was both. Check fuel pressure and the relay. alot of times the relay can be diagnosed visually - they get corroded and will stop working. I would also check the evap purge valve. Lots of info on youtube regarding how to check these components. Relay and purge valve are easy to check and replace if needed, and not expensive. Fuel pump is a lot of work because you have to remove the tank, but its doable. Let us know what you find out.

Starting in '05 Ford ditched the fuel pump relay in the junction box and went with a Fuel Pump Driver Module, mounted on the frame rail behind the left rear wheel. As @Vincent Vega noted, corrosion can be a real issue given the FPDM's location. One of the parameters I monitor in Forscan Lite is FPDM duty cycle. Maybe that would give a clue but I haven't had issues...yet.
