My thoughts are the same, she hit both the guardrail and the wall at a high rate of speed. Might have been at a 28-40 degree angle headed towards the wall, trunk then took the impact, absorbed what it did, and sprung back to land in it's current position due to the inertia. Possibly a medical condition is what caused the driver to lose control, heart attack, epilepsy, etc.restrained or unrestrained? I can not tell from the article. Even in a big vehicle, being unrestrained may be an issue with deceleration forces/blunt trauma. Unfortunately quite a few people think driving a big truck makes one invincible... but a non yielding wall at good speed make a formidable nemesis, regardless of the vehicle - maybe except military tanks
