Drove across Wyoming today. Moran cutover to Dubois was pretty crazy, snowmobiling at Togwatee is phenomenal !

I80 started getting pretty iced up, so I bailed out in Cheyenne.

My question is:. On the interstate, if it's snowy and icy ... Should I not use cruise control? I was thinking that used to be the case, but now with traction control ... Maybe cruise is fine? Anybody know?

Well idk about the newer stuff, but defiantly not on my 05 and 03 chevys. And they both have traction control. The adaptive cruise may be different? But even with traction control it causes the engine to rev high when you slow down.

Cruise control is a no-no in any type of slippery conditions (rain, ice, snow, etc.).

Yes I see that now, googled it. I used it sparingly today, when it might not have been iced over. Will be more careful from now on.
