cruise control light

Is there a light int he dash that indicates the Cruise control is on? 98 expedition. My cruise works, but no light and Im used to seeing them.. if there is one, where is it i cant see a spot.

Me too because my Husband said it doesn't work because no light but maybe there isn't one? I'm missing my cruise button on my steering wheel though I need a replacement.~~~ (Note to self)

I don't think there is one on these first gens. I could be wrong on the ones from 99-02, but my aunt has a 98, she doesnt have one (she made me look for one) and i know i dont have one on my 97. But both of our cruise controls work just fine.

i have one in my first gen its blurry ,but says cruise
the light does'nt go on till you set the speed

I just thought the light was out in my gf's expedition because when I set the cruise no light came out. Guess 99+ have light, and 97-98 dont.

My mistake. There's no light in my 99 so they must have added it in 2000 or 01.
