My cousin was in the business for a while.

You produce hydrogen by passing current through a small water container and then burn the hydrogen in the motor to get better mileage and power.

I've never seen real, documented evidence that it works.

My point has always been that I don't think you can produce a large enough volume of hydrogen to make any difference.

I would think that whatever current needed to produce enough Hydorgen would be more than the energy you could produce?

Dumb question, but what about a gas cylinder filled with hydrogen that is plumbed in. Is it that expensive to fill them. Just a thought.

there are some vids on youtube for expy mods & some claim 10mpg with it... Although their mods seem way too involved with the way they set things up...

My neighbor was in the business of fuel cells for a while -- he would likey have more info on the stuff... (although he was working on a complete hydrogen mod... Not a hybred)

My father inlaw had his toyota tundra modded & claimed nice gains (50% or so)... I think he had Jesus (without a green card) insatll it for about $10.00?? It was pretty much baking soda (or something) with water & two probes extending down into a "Kerr" canning jar... What the?

If it's so great, (OR worth the effort), why isn't there a slick aftermarket kit or a specific expy blueprint for building your own... If there is, please point me to it.. I'll give it a rip & post a detailed how-to..

Me?... I have my hands full with needing to get the full 8 plugs and coils changed out to see if that solves my shakes... (I got autolite double platinum APP104 - ADVISE PLS). Anyway, I swear I've never seen a gas gauge drop while looking at it, while driving around town... Must be about 6 or 7 mpg running on less than 8 cylinders is what I have right now... Truely pathetic.

Where would you go to fill it? My local shell station still wants to push the rejected California gas we get in Oregon from refineries with batches that didn't cut the mustard, down my throat...

any local industrial gas supply place. even if you had to buy the cylinder, once you buy it, it should last forever. if you were to get a small cylinder, you should not have to wory about hazmat on your license. the only real questions are how much is the hydrogen itself and how much do you need to run to make a difference. people put NOS bottles in their vehicles all the time with no problems. do you or anybody else know the amount of hydrogen that is actually needed to make this work. I can;t think it is much different than running propane on diesels, and that has been done for a long trime.

are you refering to the methanol injection or the hydrogen or both

I am referring to hydrogen. Methanol has been coined "Poor Man's Intercooler" it does work, I've never used it in a n/a setting but I ran it on my mustang and it lowered intake temps 100-125 degrees.
