They are pretty bright. I'll use them once in a while at dusk but I really just did them for effect at shows to draw attention to the truck, plus the fact that right now this is the only set in existence.

As far as the F150 conversion is concerned, just be aware that the mounting brackets that are welded to the frame are different on the F150 and you'll have to replace those as well. In the setup I chose to run I am using a F150 lower bumper as a bumper reinforcement. So I have to cut off the old 99 bumper brackets and weld on new ones off an 07 F150. I haven't gotten that far yet with my build so I don't know what other issues I will run into.

It cost to be the Boss.......my man.

Seriously we're a high quality shop doing high end custom builds. I didn't design these for mass resale. I wanted my truck to be unique and I didn't want any of the crappy Ebay lamps so I built my own. If I sell one set here and there then thats fine. If I sell none thats fine too. I realize the economy isn't all that great but if you want your truck to stand out amongst the rest then my lamps will certainly do that for you.

Not sure on what prices we are talking about, but I do know that projector retrofits are rather pricey (300-400 and up). A lot of the cost comes from the projectors.

Not sure if what you quoted Bow Down was a projector retrofit, or just the LEDs, though.

Well I asked him how much for the LEDS headlight with the black bezel and he told me $750. To me, as he has a body shop he gets the headlights at cost and then adds the LEDS. I'm not trying to disrepect him or his shop. Looks like he does some sick work. But for a set of headlights for $750 is too rich for my blood. Thats 2 months of truck payments for me. But if I had the money I would get them.

I would imagine most of that is labor. Everything that has to be done to the lamps and housing is time consuming. For a custom piece like that, that isn't out of line. If it was mass produced like some of the junk on ebay, it would be much cheaper ...and look the part.

So the fab god does it again! Lol

let me know when/if you come to tx i gotta see yout truck in person! That looks good/mean/clean all in one

the headlights are about right for the price! Not only are you paying for time but your paying for the fact that you know it was done right with good quality materials......you gotta pay to play. The headlights came out really nice. I think im gonna do the ccfl rings with ptm headlights if i ever get off my a$$ and do it.

Sometimes I wish I could just pick up my shop and move. At least in Texas there are more people into the truck scene. Up here you almost never see a full size truck bagged or even lowered for that matter. Me and my son feel that there would be a market up here for full size truck customizing, but beside us there aren't any shops up here doing that. Probably has to do with the short show season.

Anyways don't do ccfl's, you'll only regret it. They never work for very long and we have had instances where the invertors have caused fires. Had one go up in smoke right in front of us. After that we refused to install them anymore. Can't take on the liability issues.

OOOOOOOOOOO.....that is an idea...PTM headlights...my only problem is that i am going to repaint my truck some shade of green (flip-flop) or MICHIGAN BLUE/GOLD...so i'll have to send them back to him to repaint...initially i wanted to keep the signature trim but i just may go a solid color...if i do blue/gold the gold would be the EB trim...but my gages and other A/C panel is green so green is winning 75% to 25%...

Well I've run into a small problem with my seats. Long story short.....I switched out the 99 seats for some 06 seats. Front seats work without much modification however the rear seats won't work at all in they're stock configuration. I'm going to have to custom build my own mounting system, so thats where I'm at. Otherwise here is what my new seats are going to look like. So once I get all that fabrication done I'll be able to continue the rug and seat install. Also we're building some door speaker pods and a rear sub enclosure. At this point we're well past any kind of shows here in NJ so there is no real rush any longer to get it back on the road, when it happens it happens.

those seats look badass but i could never do it 2 kids and daily driver equals destroyed in weeks lol, you and your son should come to tx there very big on the truck scene out here, im originally from LA but stayed here in tx after i got out of the army. 9 out of 10 cars here around ft hood has rims on it, ask anyone who has been here. not to mention the ****** shops that half ass there work (candy paint with runs horrible runs in them etc) get all the business when theres fully capable shops like yours who dont get as many customers which sucks ass

your truck looks awesome! I really like the seats, did you make them in house or something like katzkin? I keep looking at redoing my seats with a nicer leather and add the heated and cooled option.
