Dash/console fan noise

Hearing a fan noise (clicking) coming from inside the dash/sounds like it's low, behind the temp controls. With all temp settings off, the fan is still spinning. Only shuts down after key removal, u can hear it wind down. Windshield defrost/fan sounds normal.

Anyone come across this?....thx

Fan noise behind dash

I know this is long dead, but did you ever figure out the noise? I have the same problem.

cabin air control box...u can fix it urself without removing the dash as it calls to do but u can do it...its gonna be a little tight...might be a $15-$25 part...don't have a dealership do it cuz it will take them 15 minutes to do it and they will charge u for full dash removal...even though they didn't do it
