Dash Paint Peel

Ok, I'm SURE this has been addressed before but I'm a newbie here & a search didn't yield any results. Is there ANYTHING I can do about Ford's 'bright idea' to PAINT the dash on the Expys instead of just using color molded plastic like everyone else??? What's the best.....cleanest remedy for this & am I being...too picky & biting off more than I can chew?

I know that the old mustang guys have been painting their dashes black bc its the rarer color with success. www.50resto.com has the colors you need. But i know removing the dash isnt a walk in the park either.

either paint or depending on were it is peeling get a dash overlay kit

Thanks guys, it seems to be peeling along the top near the door jam and, of course, around the radio.....
