On my 2000 expedition there is the annoying problem with dashboard and overhead console lights flashing when I turned lights ON. This problem was there of and on since truck was new. It was worked on by dealer under warranty at least 4 times and always came back. Finally I just gave up and put up with it. It will stop if I dim dashboard lights to minimum so that is the way I drive it at night. When I started driving the car after it sat for more than 1 year in the garage the problem was not there. But it came back after few hours of driving. I want to kick myself for not pressing the issue harder with the ford but it is too late now. I would love to have someone with similar experience advise on the way to fix the problem. I have no confidence with Ford dealer fixing it. Thanks in advance.

Does it flash in rythm with the RPM? Or does it just flash randomly? Maybe a bad ground?
