Does anyone know how to remove the dashboard from '04 Expedition EB?

Yes, it's very simple. All you need is a 7mm socket on a 1/4" drive rachet.

Remove the two screws directly above the gauges.

Turn your key on and move the shifter to low gear, lower the steering column down.

Grasp the panel and pull the top of the panel towards you.

Disconnect the wiring connectors from the Temp Control (2 conn), 4WD, Message Center, Pedal Switch, and Light Switch.

The dash panel can now be removed.

Note: There is an unbeleivable amount of room behind the panel to mount Satelite Radio Componets, Amps, Video Equipment, or anything else you can think of!
