Today i tried my first bit of maintenance/repair on my new truck......

I had a cd stuck in the changer, which was affecting the dvd player also.

i got the the cd unit and actual cd out no problem, but when i replaced the unit, it still would not let anything happen with the cd player.
it went from radio to dvd ok, but kept saying cd error.

i took out the unit again to see if i pushed load could i see the problem, but nothing at all happened.

there is nothing at all comming out - the unit is dead, no clock even.....

could it be something simple like a fuse?
- if so, which fuse(s) do i change?

or have i really screwed up???/

thanks.....

no...it is a recurring problem with their cd players and the only fix is to buy an aftermarket and install it...

check the following fuses F1.22, F1.7, F 1.31, F1.4 being you had things disconnected go back and recheck anything that you disconnected to make sure that you reconnected properly. Look at the connectors to make sure no pins came out/loose

you should have a print-out of the fuse layout in your owners manual which will have the fused listed and location
