Starting to have a bunch of little things pop up that I just don’t think a 2yr old vehicle with 19k miles should be experiencing.

From pretty much day one I’ve had a light knock coming from the suspension on the front left side. Dealer can’t replicate it and said everything looked good blah blah blah. I know it’s there and service writer even acknowledged hearing a light knock but because there were no obvious signs something was wrong then nothing they could do
Rear ac sometimes won’t turn on. I’ll have to restart my truck sometimes then it will work.
While on a road trip this week while driving through Tennessee my gps out of the blue determined my location to be somewhere in Oklahoma. It didn’t right it self until we pulled over and restarted the truck.
My left brake light has decided that sometimes it doesn’t want to work making me think I have a burned out bulb
On road trip this week when I went to pull out of a fast food drive through it revved up then slammed into gear. I was in drive the entire time.
When backing out of my driveway or a parking space to the left then turning the wheel right to straighten up and drive off, my steering wheel will get real stiff and send a nasty vibration through the whole truck that apparently you can hear outside. I was pulling into the driveway the other day and my wife was standing there and could definitely tell something wrong.

Electrical gremlins fine but steering and tranny issues this soon is troublesome to me. I had planned on waiting till next year to get something else because I wanted to see what was coming out for 2020 plus I want back into a truck. I’m still a lover of Ford so the F150 is high on the list. Chevy has done their redesign for 2019 and their new Trailboss edition is beautiful. That truck with the 6.2 might make me spend some money. We’ll see

That's a whole lotta Murphy's Law happening there 07, Yikes!

I'm really surprised to hear of all those things since most of us haven't experienced anything to this degree. I just rolled over 42K on the truck I bought 19 months ago and haven't had a single issue and I know that I'm not alone. I don't blame you though, to not have confidence in a vehicle, especially a fairly expensive one is a non-starter.

Heading for PA tomorrow. When I get back I'll have about 10,600 miles on it. I've had it since February 2017. I got to drive a 2018 Limited Max for a couple of days while mine was getting it's bumper painted. I think I want one now. :) maybe in a couple of years.

Knock on wood...my 2015 Limited hasn’t given me any issues at all. I’m at 84,000 miles now and am thrilled with mine. I’m hoping to never have any of the drama you mentioned... if I start having issues at the level and consistency that you have, I’ll dump it and be back to Toyota.

I’ve decided I’m getting rid of it. Me and my 5yr old are going truck shopping next weekend. It’s been a good truck for me and my family but now I’ve got the bug for something else. I don’t think any of my little issues are any indication of Ford quality. I think I just got a truck with some quirks that’s all.
Today I’m gonna clean her up real good and detune it so she’ll be presentable for a trade next week

Next week I’ll have a complete set of Weathertech mats front to rear for sale and possibly my SCT X4 tuner if anyone is interested.

Can't blame you one bit for wanting to move on. I've had great cars/trucks, over the many years I've been driving. And I've had a few bad ones as well. After all is said and done, its just a car! Life's too short to be struggling with that many demons that keep rearing up. Hope we keep you on our site though.

Your tie rod is messed up or loose.

Its a 20 dollar part that you probably messed up yourself by hitting a curb or something.

Just cuz it looks like tank doesnt mean it's utterly invincible

Just sayin...if it were me and I had to sell a truck because of all the "issues", I sure as hell wouldn't look for a replay by buying from the same manufacturer!!

I'd be interested in the Weathertech mats.

I'll post them up for sale this week. Already removed them just need to power wash them and get em looking nice

Time for a new 2018!

Sold it today and got back into a truck. I usually don't stick around forums dedicated to something I no longer own so probably wont be seeing any more of me. Im gonna post up my weathertech mats and tuner in the for sale section. Once those are gone Im gone. Its been fun fellas
