difference in motors

Does anyone know the difference bewteen the motor out of the harley davidson truck and the lightning motor? Thinking about upgrading my motor and want to know whats my options???????....

I assume your speaking of the 02-04 supercharged harleys and the 99-04 lightnings. Other year harley's are appearance package only.

Same motor but the harleys were pullied for 6# boost vs 8 for the lightning.

Angel, the motor internals are identical. The only difference is the amount of boost.
