My apologies for starting a new thread on this subject, but I read several on "how to change the differential oil". It's pretty standard like any other I've done, except the cover on mine was not easy to remove. this is because it is more involved, as it is also used as a mount with additional attachment besides the mount bolts.
So I decided just drain it (drain plug) and fill it back up on the fill hole. I read several post stating 3 quarts, but all the manual I read was 4.25 pints (2.01L). so I added the LSD additive and 2 full quarts, then it started to leak out of the fill hole indicating it is full.
Did I fill it enough? I edited my post and added the correct amount. I found the maintenance manual. Thank you.
