Does anyone know is SYNC is offered for 2008 Models

I've had my 2008 Eddie Bauer Expedition for almost 3 yrs now and I love it to death. With some of the new technology offered in the newer Ford Models (ie SYNC) I was wondering if this was something that could be added to my vehicle. My vehicle came preloaded with Rear DVD, Sun roof, Satellite radio and 6 disk CD, but I'm an Engineer and while my bluetooth phone headset is nice, it would be more convenient to have the SYNC technology.

I looked into this and found that SYNC was not available on the 2008 Expedition and there was no aftermarket solution offered for this MY Expedition.

Looks like I'm going to have to wait for a while when I can afford a used 2009 + Expedition.

I'm also looking for a JB edition. Anyone know where I can find one?

My pioneer AVIC unit does everything that the early sync systems did.

I ordered a '08 Expedition and picked it up in January of 2008. I ordered and they installed sync on it so I'd check with Ford. It was added 30 days after my Expy came in.

My '11 has it and I love it....so easy to use.
