Front door check is broke and need tips on how to fix.

You didn’t state if it is the left or right door check.

If it is the left front door check, the parking brake pedal assembly must be removed and move to the side to replace the door check assembly.

The LF door check strap assembly has been replaced twice under warranty on my 2015 Expedition and purchased new.

The assembly is a poor quality, plastic part.
