I just bought a '99 expedition from a used car dealership but they didn't have the code to open the door. someone told me you could reset the code but i don't know how. Can anybody help?

Check on the security module....
Pull the passengerside kickpanel off (plastic interior piece) and you'll find the security module (has three plugs going into it). On the module you will find a sticker with the 5 digit keyless entry code on it. That is the permanent code, write it down and keep it in a folder someplace for the truck. To program in your own 5 digit code enter the permanent code and within 5 seconds hold down the 1/2 key, the door locks will cycle, then enter in a 5 digit code you can remember, the door locks will cycle again acknowledging the new personal code. You're done. The permanent code will always work but now you will be able to use your new personal code too. Hope this helps. Good luck ........ Mike

I found the code under the dash on the module up behind the brake pedal on the firewall. I also had no code when I got my truck and it was clear. Good luck getting under the dash.
