I was on you tube looking for someone who took the dash cluster out a Expedition so I could count how many lights and what size they were for the back illumination cuz I want to change to LED's and I came across this video for stopping air and door rattles...you may have seen this or not, but thought it was worth sharing...especially because these are so expensive to replace.

I think the guy mentioned it...I'm guessing a hardware store or section in a store maybe autozone or somewhere like that...

he used surgical tubing more than likely from a place you go to get oxygen tubing, walkers, etc..he said he used this because it stays pliable when cold...if you use something like neoprene it stiffens when cold...although I dont hear any leaks in mine...I think I will do this and see if it gets quieter..

i thought about this also. but i've seen people say be careful cuz it can cause the seal to wear out faster
