Driver door power lock not working

I've run into an interesting problem. The driver's door on my 2020 Limited is not locking. The vehicle thinks it is locked and all the other actions indicate its locked, but the plunger on top of the door doesn't go up and down and the door remains unlocked whether I lock it via the fob or the inside door switch. All the switches on the door work, the powerfold mirror works as expected, the keypad on the door works, and the door open/closed switch seems to be working properly. Touching the inside of the door handle makes all the right noises like its locking/unlocking and the other doors unlock, but the door remains unlocked with the plunger on top of the door remaining down like the door is locked. But if I walk up to the truck without a key, the door comes right open (of course, triggering the alarm if I don't stop it).

Has anyone encountered this before? Obviously, this is a less than ideal situation. Has anyone run into this before or have any suggestions?

The power door lock actuator assembly is defective and needs replacement.

Can you lock the door with the key? When my actuator failed on my 2022 F450, all of the other doors would lock except the drivers door. The driver's door would buzz but would not lock. To lock it, I had to manually push the lock down or use the key to lock it. To open it, I used the key. The dealer replaced the actuator and things returned to normal.
