I own a lot of acreage in the thousands do a lot of hunting I have a 2001 King ranch done by factory Ford, 44 inch tires under body lift and massive suspension lift, camo gelcoat, winch front and back only 11,000 miles since 2001, I flatbed it from property to property. I've got a 86 K5 Blazer mint condition showroom sitting on 44s 4-barrel carb I'm on my fourth engine straight exhaust super swampers etc,I've got a 69 scout showroom condition sitting way up in the air and I've got a 48 willys totally redone and I'm working on 53 Willy's. I didn't purchase this 2007 expedition for just a run around vehicle, I know it's going to mess everything up and putting power chip in there and all the sensors and the big tires and lift kit I just wanted to try to make it another badass redneck hunting truck to go with my others I guess! Okay well tell me this I want to do a 3 in leveling or suspension left I want to put headers and straight exhaustion bigger tires you think I ought not do that either!?

It's your truck so you do you. Camo it up and have fun.

Not for anything, but considering all the vehicles and mods you listed why are you even asking the forum if you should or should not install bigger tires and a 3" lift?

Regarding the "chip", contact 5 Star Tuning (they're a vendor on this forum) and have them make you a tune.

Gibson makes shorty headers for these trucks and they bolt right up after a whole lot of effort. Cosmetic mods like dual exhaust aren't my thing but again, you do you.

Prolly end up spending more than what it’s worth. Then after all that it’ll be worth less.

That wasn’t designed for those mods or use. It’s a suburban hauler, not an off road mudder.

But to each his own.

You've got some serious toyage Pearce......I like that! Come on guys, he isn't looking to drive it to work, it's a play truck! He knows the deal....it's never going to be "$$worth it" but it's not about that.....hell yeah Pierce, go for it....the truck will handle what you want but you'll deal with typical BS suspension and wiring issues getting it built, like all your other trucks, right?

Machete was prob just thinking you were the typical "Drive-by" thinking he was going to get lots of power from his 5.4. I've owned a couple and he's right.

Not much in there w/o really getting close to the edge but it's a beast of an engine stock and will pull whatever needs pulling so yeah, you might dump 5 grand worth of exh and a "chip" but don't expect to see anything that's going to make you feel good. You know the deal....when we try to tell ourselves that whatever we had just paid for, was worth it....kinda like that.

You however play with big and expensive toys, much different from what we mostly see here....so come on, post some pics!

You're best bet for affirmation might be a Modded truck forum though.... lol
