Good to join the group.

My 4.6 '99 Expedition ("The Queen") is running strong at 94K miles. Just added new plugs for the next 100K to come -- heard some getting over 180K miles. I use it for my Church ministry. 296 "missions" now and 35 states, and never let me down. (see attached; hope its there). They will probably bury me in this truck. You can eat off my engine. Clean underneath. Impeccable care.

I am waiting for the eco boost for the Expedition to add to my "fleet" and seems like the dealers "know nothing" -- can't believe that. Maybe they are afraid they will not be able to move the 20111's etc. off the lot.

ANYONE KNOW WHEN THE EXPEDITION GETS THE ECO BOOST?

It kind of sucks that Ford has come out with these new engines for the F-150 and they are not available in the Expedition.

Thanks for replys -- I did hear 95% of all Fords will have Eco by 2013. So one more year I guess. They would be stupid not too - but they will need to move those 2012s off the lot. May be some good deals by end of 2012.

I dont see it happening at all. A 6c turbo would not be economical on the EL bc of the weight. I would see a diesel before that.
