eddie bauer problems and questions

Hi All, and merry christmas
I just bought a 1999 E.b. expedition and have driven it about 500 miles since . I Know the orignal owner well and know the truck has had a very good life. well mantained and only labored pulling a boat trailer (26 ft) mostly just to get overboard. The truck is extremely clean with 173,000 miles and has the 5.4 engine . I have noticed some issues with it and want to address my concerns in the right sections . Im pretty new at this computer stuff and find it very stressful trying to locate similar problems on here using search or just searching or do I just ask my questions here on general discussion ? Can someone direct my path ?
