Will any computer from an expedition from 97-02 With a 5.4l work in my 1999 Ford expedition 5.4l ? Or do I need to get one exactly for my truck?

I would look for the exact box code. It will be a 4 digits with letters and numbers. There were different engines and transmissions which would indicate different programs in the pcms
