Hi i know that is very dificult to diagnost a engine noise but let me try, first 2003 Ford Expi 4x4 EB w/ 105000 miles, well in the morning theres a lot of noise when you turn on the engine but disapears in a few seconds, next some times you can hear the engine like when you use cheap fuel you can hear the pistons under woot i'm not a mechanical guru so sorry about the terms i use, but i dont know if its a belt tensioner symptom or in a worse case a timing belt issue, actions dont to try correct the problem: oil change to Gastrol synthec, oil filter change, use octane boost and metal lube use without results, im just scare of the second because this my only vehicle to get to work any help or advise going to be apreciate. Thanks!

There is a list of "could be's" but a video with good sound would help narrow the possibilities.

Sounds like an lack of oil problem, at least on the start up. What oil filter are you using? Usually the 2 valve 4.6/5.4 motors dont have the oiling problems that 05-10 have. Depending on service intervals of previous owner, you may have to dig into motor. At this point be sure you've got a motorcraft, or quality filter. Some start up issues can be as as simple as that. But with your pinging and driveability issues do the usual, run a computer diagnostic, and fuel pressure test, and report back. You could have more than 1 problem. Keep in touch.
