I primarily do all my own work on my vehicles and image my surprise when I went to change my oil for the first time on my 04 Epedition and found the recommended oil to be 5W-20. I have never seen 5W-20 oil sold anywhere and have yet to find any conventional or sythetic available at my local stores. What is eveyone running in their 4.6's. I don't tow, I live in a moderate climate, and rarely take the vehicle off-road more than to use a gravel boat ramp. Any suggestions are appreciated. Thanks

Ask your local store to order some, I use Valvoline durablend 5W-20, semi-synthetic. I change my oil about every 5,500 miles, most of my driving is on the hi-way, pretty low stress stuff. If I tow more, say, like in the summer I will change it about every 4K.

I don't know about wally-world, but a checker or pep-boys I'm sure could order some 4-you.

It goes beyond your 4.6, My 5.4 is also like that, and so is my wifes 3.0 in our Taurus, its just the new tolerance Ford is using.
