I have a 2009 expedition 5.4L that has recently had a motor replaced. The mechanic is a long time friend. First motor he tried to put in was the wrong one. So after I did some research found the right one, ordered it, and the work finally starts. I’m thinking he was done messing with it and rushed to put it all together and he damaged the ac condenser (already replaced), the top cover over radiator was misplaced or thrown away, and my biggest problem now..... realizing after putting in a full jug of washer fluid that the reservoir was empty again but nothing was leaking. Turns out he hooked the hose to the vacuum reservoir canister. Ordered a new one for $30. I need help trying to find diagrams for both the vacuum lines and washer fluid lines.

Dude....

Make sure you give that truck a complete once/twice/thrice-over before attempting to start or drive it. The issues you listed are easy/obvious/impossible-to-screw-up items and I shudder to think what else he got wrong that you're not yet aware of.

Good news guys!!! I had a REAL MECHANIC look at my truck and he’s going to fix the hose situation and also determined that I have 2 bad fuel injectors. Only charging me $125 for diagnosis and labor. And he’s replacing all the injectors at once. He said that we have been through enough cuz it hasn’t been running since mid June.

Lots of people leave those covers off that goes between the rad and the grille and then they lose it by the time they sell it but it's actually an air dam and part of the cooling system. Mine was long gone when I bought my truck so I had to buy a new one online. Glad you got a real mechanic to look at it. You usually get what you pay for.
