Expedition Meet?

Just curious, is there any interest in a local or national meet? I previously had an explorer sport trac and was on a forum where we had a national meet in Louisville KY (Where they are made) They actually had a catered dinner and toured the factory.

Would there be any interest in having local meets in different areas and perhaps a yearly national meet at the plant where the Expy's are made? Local meets could be just a few or many getting together for a pot luck picnic or at a local restaurant for lunch perhaps?

I am in Kansas City and I would be willing to meet up somewhere local, and to travel for a national meet if one was organized.

Thoughts or discussion anyone?

I think a tour of where the Expeditions are made would be awesome. Of course I would love to go to a Ford Plant of any kind just to see how it all works. That stuff is always cool to me. I wouldn't mind getting together for that. Unfortunately local is kinda hard, I am in Jacksonville, FL. LOL

you need to sign up for a photo sharing website like photobucket.com or flicker. they are free and then you just upload your photos to the site and it will give you an

Back in the late 90's/early 2000, another group I was part of used to meet at the George Washington National Forest and do a fun run through the forest. One year Ford brought 2 of their test mules (both 2nd gen X's at the time with the new IRS rear end). It was a good time for all. IT made people turn their heads to see 50 X's going through the woods nose to tail.

Awe, Toms89, you have a really fast expo, it would take no time to get here. LOL Gas might be a little expencive, but the further you go south, the cheaper gas gets. LOL

So far I've seen Dave and Rburch are from around KC like me. I'd be up for lunch or something somewhere in the metro. If there's others around the general region I'm sure we could get something started.
