expedition noises

I got a 97 expedition and it makes sounds like a loud fan is coming on when first started or when sitting with the engine off.
Any feedback.

I belive that is the actual fan and the clutch. I may be wrong. But I hear this on my 03 and many other vehicles.

If you have the LLS it is the air pump.

That sound you here is the air suspension (if you have it) mine makes the same noise , its just compensating for extra weight or load.
