Expy broke into the 12's

Went to the track tonight and my very first pass right off the street the expy broke into the 12 second zone!!



Makes a difference when I can run full throttle the whole pass!! It felt great except it was breaking up at the top end. Sure this was hurting mph. May have to reduce plug gap.. Unfortunately that was not something that could be done at the track. P.I.T.A. A lot of people were coming over to check it out after it ran commenting on how hard it launched and couldn't believe a beast that size could run 12's.

What I felt was its best pass did not get recorded..malfunction in the timing equipment. But all in all I had a great night and it did not bother me too much. Made 3 runs in the 12 second zone.

1st pass I made I was running a mustang cobra. The driver came up to me after the pass checking out the expy. He said he thought something was wrong with his car because he could not figure out why he was not catching up to me.. LOL..

There is no stock 3v that will even come close to 12s. 16s are pushing it.

Thanks! Must be a drag racer.. Most people have no clue what 60 fts mean or should be. Yes it was pulling very hard out of the hole. Specially when you consider it has tight stock expy converter and 3.55 "economy" gears. Torque!

The intakes are different. After a little more research last night, i did find two but they were both $5,000+. I was actually refering to factory superchargers like Toms.

Do you have any idea what your expy weighs in at ? Can calculate hp needed.

Raptors are not supercharged. 6.2l naturally aspirated

the older models. 5.4 3v. then the 6.2 2v came out with 16 spark plugs.
