Factory DVD Player Problems

I decided to swap my factory Nav unit with a nice aftermarket Pioneer unit. I added XM and it has blue tooth and works perfect. Only problem I have now is the factory DVD player no longer works. Do they make a kit where I can hook it back up so it will still work ? Any help would be grateful...

Yes, you need the optional Aux DVD harness. Crutchfield sells it with all their radios. Call them or google it.

Thanks for the info. I also noticed that there is a separate plug to turn the factory sub on also. Just ordered the whole kit. I thought it sounded like the sub was not coming on.

Thanks Mike. Got all the parts and now my rear sub comes on and the Factory DVD player works also.

I know this is an old post but exactly what parts did you need from crutch field and how much approximately do they cost... I just bought a 2006 and it had an aftermarket radio with Bluetooth and xm and the rear dvd come on and takes a disc but then shuts right off and the screen won't turn on at all... Really annoying

Gruz call Crutchfield's sales reps and talk directly to them. The '06 uses the CAN system and the harness might be a different part number from the '03-'04 system. They'll get you what you need.
