ok, I have a 00 eddie bauer with the great Mach 460 sound system 
any ways tested the harnesses with a light tester ... with the 2 wires going into the sub getting ground fro both wires .. but no power.
however the larger harness going into the amp from the stereo I presume has aprox 4 wires all of which light up ground and one of the wires gives me power .
am I missing something ?? or is the amp toast or is it the headunit??
