Fan motor resister has gone out and defaulted on high speed

Installed a new resister and it lasted 3 weeks, replaced the dash control board, fan still on high speed default, should I replace with the Ford resister, the Auto Zone part was made in China, looked good and fit perfect, just burned out quick.

Take a look at the mating connector, they are failure prone. Mine had a couple burned up terminals. Had to replace connector and controller and been fine after.

Always use OEM Motorcraft electrical parts.

There has been a few threads related to this issue, the loose plug is a culprit. I finally ended up adding a heat sink (a bit of work) and have never had another issue. Sorry no pics but may be in one of the threads.
