When I make a tight turn on pavement my front end bucks and gets angry....it feels like my axles are locked.....gravel--no problems...
It only happens on tight turns on pavement/concrete etc....otherwise no problems....???

What year is your Expy? The axle shaft disconnect could be stuck engaged which would cause the condition you're talking about.

Kind of sounds like an AWD with a stuck actuator. What year and model is your Expy?
Just a silly question, your 4x4 selector is set to the AWD setting and not 4h correct?

Just for background, if your four wheel drive is engaged, you will notice "binding" when making sharp corners on dry asphalt or concrete. There will also be binding on dirt or gravel, but it is less obvious because the tires are able to slip.

So yeah, your front end is in.

Remove the 4WD fuse from under the hood. If the problem goes away then it is probably what has been mentioned. If the problem persists, it is probably bad CV axles.

4x4 fuse

Fuse is number 104, if it unlocks then it's in the control system, gem module, speed sensors, ect. I also recommend the brown wire mod unless you want to keep awd. 4 hi and lo will still work with the conversion

All tires must be the same size and same tread depth ( no new tire and old tire mix) this will give a false reading to the abs system. The abs will detect like its a wheel slip
and actvate the A4WD

yes actually the CEL is on.....

(Ive had a corroded wire issue that keeps throwing a canister vent solinoid code...fix wire lasts a year or so but corrosion keeps getting ahead of me....its under the driverside door under the truck....)

Ill have autozone check my codes again tomorrow just to be sure Im not throwing a different code.
