I finally got to take a break from my day job of stay at home dad and go on my annual adult trip fishing, camping, and other. This was also my first drive towing anything in the new Navigator as well. First impressions on the truck for camping are great, lots of room for gear and the ride on unmaintained gravel was nicer than I would have imagined. The trailer wasn’t too heavy so I hardly noticed it being attached until I had to go in reverse. However, gas mileage was 13mpg (doing the math not trusting the onboard computer. Getting the new vehicle dirty wasn’t painful for the exterior but interior was a little annoying as the weathertech mats weren’t available and the Cappuccino leather seem to love dirt but do clean up easy so no casualties this trip. Looking forward to getting out again soon seeing as this vehicle had so much more room than I’m used too, the extra gear went a long way in comfort and entertainment.
