As a gift from my brother, I received a Flowmaster 953046 Super 40 Muffler - 3.00 Offset IN / 3.00 Center OUT. He bought it off of Amazon and their fit said it would fit my 08 Exp eddie, and the flowmaster site also said that it would fit "with some modification". I opened the box and I immediately noticed that the inlet and outflow tubes are significantly smaller than the ones on my current muffler. I have the stock exhaust still on, and I've been under my truck enough to recognize the size difference. Anybody know how much work it's going to be to get this in? Is this something I can put in myself or something that I will have to have professionally welded in. Any thoughts are appreciated.

If you have a pipe bender and/or pipe and clamps. Sawzall factory off and put it on. However since you are asking this question I would suggest taking it somewhere. It may be in the 100 dollar range but that's better than the headaches of starting and not being able to finish.

I would also make sure it's the right size inlet outlet to factory, I personally wouldn't want it to be smaller, whole point of a muffler swap is to open it up
