What's the advantage of an ESP over the Power Train warranty? My PTW goes to 100,000 miles.

Ford provides a 5 year / 60,000 miles power train warranty.

How did you buy a vehicle with a 100,000 mile power train warranty?

Perhaps you purchased a service plan or the dealer included a service plan with your vehicle purchase?

I purchased a new 2015 Expedition Limited 4x4 and purchased the Ford ESP.

Before the ESP expired, I purchased (extended) the ESP for additional miles and time. I would have purchased a new vehicle (not necessarily a Ford) - but due to the shortage of vehicles, I decided to keep my Expedtion.

I had no problems extending the ESP. I got quotes from several Ford dealers, and then asked the Ford dealer where I have it serviced (different from where I bought it) to match the lowest price. The did without an issue.

The plan has paid for itself + some, as the Expedition has been repaired repeatedly at the dealer.
Thanks, that is what I'll do.

Sometimes Ford gives promotional powertrain warranty to veterans. It is 5 years/100k. My delivery date was two days after the last day of the promotional period due to the strike. I also missed the $500 dollar discount for the same reason. WTF.

Thank you for posting this! Their price was a little higher, but they price matched Ziegler and I am in the process of booking the inspection at my home. This couldn't have worked out any better.

I have to say the service from Lombard was exceptional. I spoke with Emma and she was amazing throughout the entire transaction.

I went to my dealer for an inspection and got a list of items to fix with a cost of over 4k. So a called another dealer in the state and he sold me the ESP warranty over the phone with no inspection, he told me there was a 30 day “wait period” before I could bring anything already broken into to be fixed. Cost was higher then Ziegler but I didn’t need an inspection. May be worth a shot Mock Ford Ford https://www.mockfordsales.com/
This is interesting. I recently read the Terms and Conditions and there is no 30-day waiting period mentioned. R u sure you got Ford Protect PremiumCARE?

It went perfectly. The inspection service came to the house, went over the truck, and took it for a drive. Everything was good so a few days later the paperwork arrived in the mail documenting the coverage. I checked with Ford and the coverage was in the system.
