OK I have an 03 fx4 4x4 (18,000miles). I have had that damn growl in the front end while in 2wd and that damn clunk when changing into AWD since day one. I took it to the dealer 3 times and they think I'm nuts. They say nothing is wrong. After searching the net I found a forum that said yes this is a problem and TSB 02-25-07 and TSB 03-06-04 will take care of this. I took it to the dealer and told them about the TSB and they said they still could not find anything wrong so they cannot do the TSB. WTFFFF.. Do I have to tear it apart for them. I'm heading to pick it up tomorrow and just might drive it through their show room floor and leave it. Anyone have anything else on this problem so I can take it as AMMO and shove down their throats???

I had mine repaired for the same issue. I'll dig up my service records.

Are you taking the test drive with the ervice tech?

I did but had to do it twice since the first guy wasn't the guy who was suppose to fix it. *duh* I had to go back 4 hours later and test drive with the correct "drivetrain specialist" guy.
