Hello, another new guy question... I've read the articles on changing out the injectors. Anyone have a idea how long it would take a garage mechanic to do the job. Kind of weighing the options on doing it myself or allowing a shop to do it and wanted a hours thing to see when I ask tomorrow if he jerks me around. I would think for me it be about 6 hours if not less.

Right now a mechanic friend told me it would have to be a leaking injector causing my raw fuel smell and lack of fuel pressure when starting and causing the roughness, but since he is 4 hours away im unable to have him do the job for me.

Thanks in advance

Fuel injectors are not that bad once you have the intake and fuel rails out.might as well throw some plugs in.i did my injectors, plugs, and coils when I got the infamous coolant leak from my intake manifold
