Still waiting on delivery of fuel pump driver module. But the old one hasn't thrown a code, so if I have to go to the next step and buy a fuel pump, I want to make sure I have the most reliable, best investment. I don't want to have to deal with something like this in the middle of the winter with this vehicle again.
So I went back to Amazon, and the Rock Auto site. This time, Rock Auto shows the best deals and the most variety: RockAuto Parts Catalog. Conventional thinking, and most of you guys would probably recommend OEM Motocraft. Can't really go wrong there, and one of the cheapest. But I'd appreciate knowing of anyone's experience with other brands. I'd rather pay more for a more reliable fuel pump. I read most of the descriptions and it seems that the "turbine" designs are the best.
I'm sure Bosch has been in the electric fuel pump business longer than Motocraft. Any additional knowledge/advice on this, the Carter, or others from some of the techs out there?
