My exp. was having a hard time starting, replaced relay for the fourth time. Once started, started driving home, it stalled. It restarted, but shortly there after my son said the fuse box was extremely hot. Shortly after that, the transmission started having a hard time shifting into 3rd gear. It would not restart. Ordered new fuse box (it was melted). My question is could the burnt fuse panel cause my transmission issue? It starts right up now, but the transmission drops out after second gear. Don't want to replace the trans if it is electrical. Any ideas?
