Glitches in 2025 Expedition

Is it the CarPlay or what? When using the engaged mobile phone, the phone cuts in and out or fads for the person on the other side that’s listening. Anyone else?

Yes! I have the exact same problem which started about 8 months after purchase. I use an iPhone 16 and dealer tried all the easy fixes of deleting and reloading the phone and resetting the software at top and second level. It would work ok for a day and then back to poor quality. Dealer gave up after 3 attempts and told me it was my iPhone causing the problem. Ford tech help line was no help. Never got to speak directly with a technician. I finally switched to Alexa and the problem went away. Disappointed that I forgo CarPlay's other usefulness in order to get clear phone communication. Other annoying glitches tell me that the software is not stable and prone to lose function without warning.

2024 software is “miss and miss” on my Expedition Max - in 9,000 miles it has worked as designed total of less than 700 miles. If anyone believes they can get help from Ford Customer Service or technical service they are fooling themselves. I believe FoMoCo quality control is nonexistent, they know it and don’t care.

All they want to do is pump out vehicles as fast and cheap as they can and move on to the next model. That's basically what it comes down to.
