back in october, my 2007 expedition limited, that currently has about 150k on it, started getting the stutter, usually at about 40 mph. i added the sea foam as recommended by my dad (God love him!) to no avail. i took it to my local guy who i would trust with my dogs. he replaced the fuel filter. didn't fix it. then he fixed the mass air flow that was showing up on the diagnostics. still got the shimmy. i went online and it seemed to be the majority had issues with either the coils or the boots. but my guy wanted me to take it to a transmission guy, which he wasn't. i told the tranny guy what i had read online but his diagnostics made him think it was the transmission. so we replaced it. i am sad to say that almost $4800 later, i still have the same issue. luckily, it only does it at 40, but still.
does anyone have any thoughts on this? i am pretty upset that i have a new transmission and the problem still isn't fixed. thanks for any recommendations.
