HD tow adequate cooling?

No its 2wd. Here is the specs again - 2012 Expi EL with 5.4L, 6spd Trans, 2wd.

This thread is a little old, but it's appropriate for my question.
I have an '11 XLT with the HD Towing package (5 pass cooler). I just returned from a trip today (~55F ambient) 70-75MPH not towing.
My temps are all read using OBDII & Torque.
My engine coolant held steady at 195 rarely deviating. However, the transmission was between 179F and 184F. Isn't this a little high for not towing in only 55F weather? That's 120F over ambient?

I thought I was going to agree it was high. Then I remembered that none of our four Expeditions have had a tranny gauge, just my 7.3 Powerstroke. But since the thread is old, at least you'll get one reply.

I have no idea if this is of any help at all, but the truck tran runs about 130 at similar temps. Like this morning it was 49 here. It would be running around 150 - 160 towing 10,000# and would only hit 180 or higher on a much warmer day in the mountains.
