Headlights dimm is this normal?

Auto Stop Start Headlights Dimm

I owned a Prius with auto start and never once saw the lights dimm with that feature on. Currently driving a loaner 2020 Ford Explorer and lights do not dimm with the auto stop start feature.

I have a 2019 Ford Expedition from day one I noticed headlights dimming with the auto stop start.

Is this normal?
Anyone else having this issue?
Anyone headlights not dimming with the auto stop start?

My platinum 2019 with led headlights do not dim. Might want to have your battery checked.

I have an XLT fx4 not LED lights I only have 1900 miles

Mine dim too. Even wife noticed and asked if this is normal!

I thought it is normal given the load on battery during start

I don’t think this is normal I think Ford forgot to add a battery capacitor kind of like what they do when you add a big sound system in a car when they bass hits the lights won’t dim

My expedition does it, my F150 did it, my Audi does it. lol

If you are concerned I would advice visiting your service department. Let us know how it goes

The loaner 2020 Explorer XLT does not do it

Auto stop start strikes yet again! Disable that nonsense.
