Hey all! I'm having an issue with my heater where it only blows hot air when it's 65° or warmer outside. Engine is at normal operating temp and everything else reads normal, but no matter how high I crank the heater it makes no difference unless it's above 65°F

First you need to post year, trim, engine of your vehicle or put in your signature.

After you get vehicle up to operating temp check your heater hoses that go into the firewall both should be the same temp.
If they are no the same temp your heater core is blocked up and needs to be flushed. Many videos on youtube on how to flush.

One , it could be blend doors not opening all the way. Two, your heater core may be plugged - have it flushed. Three, are you using the rear heater? Or just the dashboard one? The most common problem is the heater core. Mine is completely plugged up despite annual flushes, so I just use the rear one. Have to flush it at least once a year.
